A Family Beach Day at Paradise Beach: What to Budget For

Float in largest heated pool in Cozumel

Beach time, pool time and food and drinks from a varied menu are included in the Exclusive All Inclusive experience at Paradise Beach Cozumel. For families, that gives you a useful starting point: much of the day is already covered by the package.

Build the rest of your budget around your full group, the extras you would enjoy and the cost of getting there. A little planning now leaves fewer decisions for your day by the water.

Calculate the package for the whole group

All members of a group, family or couple must participate in Exclusive All Inclusive together. Start with everyone who is coming when checking the booking total. Avoid planning a mixed arrangement in which some family members buy the package and others in the same group do not.

Have your visit date and each traveler’s details ready, then review the options and total shown during booking. If relatives are sharing the cost, agree on how to divide it before confirming. This is especially useful when one person is arranging the visit for several households.

Know what the package already covers

Exclusive All Inclusive includes:

  • Access to the main facilities, including the beach and pool
  • Lounge chairs and umbrellas
  • Food and drinks from the All Inclusive menu
  • WiFi

Use these inclusions as the starting point for your budget. Looking at the current menu together can help relatives understand the food and drink choices before deciding on any upgrades.

Choose optional extras deliberately

The Fun Pass is an additional purchase. Daybeds also cost extra and are available with an Exclusive All Inclusive reservation. Top Shelf spirits are offered as a separate upgrade.

Additional-fee activities listed by Paradise Beach include massages, waverunners, parasailing, banana boat rides, henna tattoos and hair braiding. If someone is interested, check the current details and cost before adding it to the family plan.

Ask each person which extras they genuinely expect to use. Then agree whether those purchases come from a shared budget or are paid for individually. With children, setting that expectation before arrival can make decisions about add-ons much simpler.

Leave room for the practical costs

Bring your own towels; towels can also be purchased at the boutique. Packing the ones you need avoids making that an unplanned purchase.

Gratuities are excluded from the package and are entirely optional. If your family intends to leave a tip, account for that separately when agreeing on the total.

Also check your round-trip transportation cost for the actual number of people traveling. For a larger family, ask about the vehicle arrangement as well as the fare rather than budgeting from a quote intended for a smaller party.

Review the total before confirming

Write down the full-group package amount, your chosen extras and your transport plan. Check the details in the booking process against that list. You will have a clearer family budget, with fewer decisions left for the day itself.
